Ivanov led Saiem’s black-ops team for six years before he broke from the Ukranian government to take over his own country. During that time (possibly before) Ivanov found God and gathered around her a small but utterly loyal group and broke away from Saiem some time during the early part of the millennium.

Her political views are presently unknown since both Ivanov herself and her group of loyalists have mostly avoided attention, though certain reports have indicated unusual activities at her well-fortified Siberian compound. It’s been rumoured that she and Saiem are still allies, working for some deeper goal, though it’s equally rumoured that they are completely unrelated other than a shared Ukrainian heritage.
