Colonel Benerman, once second in command of Special Contained Operations (SPECON) under Admiral Hans Keffer, has been recently given full command after Keffer’s death. It was she who alerted NATO command to Keffer’s increasingly unstable behaviour, this combined with her impeccable record and clear dedication to duty made her the clear choice for SPECON commander.

It’s unclear whether Keffer’s SPECON teams will respond well to leadership from the person who got their former commander killed, but Benerman has proven in the past that she can surmount apparently impossible odds to achieve an objective.
