Real Name: Hans Keffer

Keffer was an old-style war hero who has more ribbons on his chest than most flag officers he served under. He felt frustrated that the ‘powers that be’ weren’t taking action to move against what Keffer once described as “…that Usreki menace, tin-pot dictator with his finger on the trigger” – meaning General Rasputin Saiem.

After the U.N. denied Keffer’s request to take a team into Usrekistahn and arrest Saiem, he disobeyed orders and sent one of his SPECON teams in to disrupt Saiem’s finances by attacking a shipment of gold and other valuables en-route to the Vault. Keffer would have faced disciplinary proceedings, but by the time the MP’s arrived to arrest him he’d shipped out with another SPECON team to take the fight directly to Saiem. The R.A.I.D team Unit Seven was sent after the errant Admiral to stop him before he could cause an international incident that could spark world war three. During the ensuing fight Admiral Hans Keffer was killed in action.
