The Story

Dr Montana Jones, freelance archaeologist, treasure hunter, notorious criminal, and black-market dealer in illegal relics.

He sat back on the deck of the large ship known as the Forgotten Treasure, he was holding a large case and watching the horizon.

The sun would not be up fully for several hours, more than enough time to dock undetected and make their way ashore.

As the ship neared its destination, below deck his gang of mercenaries and other cut throats loaded guns and donned camouflage clothing.

The ship was docked on a small island off the coast of Japan, this island overlooked another far more sinister island, and soon him and the rest of his gang would arrive there…

This privately owned island was the base of operations for the Yakuza boss Gokudō

The island was used to manufacture methamphetamine to be smuggled into other countries and as a staging base for smuggling firearms back into Japan.

Gokudō and his crime syndicate adopted samurai-like rituals and elaborate body tattoos.

Gokudō’s men had recently robbed a Museum in Shinjuku and taken several priceless relics.

Among the items stolen was the sword of a legendary Samurai Warrior named Takeda Kenshin.

A sword that had recently been uncovered by underwater archaeologists.

Takeda Kenshin was said to have been a legendary unkillable Samurai Warrior.

His Armour and Sword were supposedly magical, having been stolen from the underworld by Takeda.

The legend says, the Armor was unable to be pierced by any weapon, and the Sword cut though any opponent like air.

However, Takeda was betrayed and killed by his own brother Lo-Pan.

Bribed by the Chinese invaders, Takeda’s brother had persuaded him to remove his helmet to speak with him after a battle, he was then shot in the neck with a poison arrow from a hidden archer.

In his dying moments, Takeda threw his Sword and helmet over a cliff edge into the sea, and with his last breath, he cursed that only he would ever wield both blade and Armour…

Lo-Pan sold the Armour to the Chinese raiders for a king’s ransom in gold and disappeared into obscurity.

Another Legend says that whoever returned his sword to his to his armour would awaken Takeda from the dead, making him immortal once again, and in return he would be honour bound to serve that person who resurrected him.

Easier said than done, because the armour was stolen by Chinese raiders several hundred years ago and until recently the sword was lost to the sea.

There are many tales of the supernatural, and to mostly they are nothing but fiction.

However, to those few who have experienced such events first hand, such stories are not so easily dismissed or forgotten.

What Montana has discovered is that Yakuza boss Gokudō already has most of the armour, all except the helmet.

Montana patted the box on his lap, it was going to be an interesting day…
