EARLY BOOKING

The sound of sirens had ceased several hours ago, it seemed the men had made their getaway successfully.

For hours they had driven through the night, off road in a convoy of 4×4’s and jeeps. That cavalcade of vehicles was noticeably smaller than when it had left the city for the job.

Several of the group had been lost in the gun fight with the police…

The group was a diverse collection of hired mercenaries, criminals and other undesirables, united under one leader, a man known as “The Jackal” .

The Jackal , (Real name Danial Owen), was himself a criminal, and a wanted one, having escaped from prison two years ago while serving a life sentence.

Multiple law enforcement agencies in America were currently looking for him, previously he had been the venerated leader for the notorious Triple Six Cartel before his arrest.

Now in Europe Dan had started a new life, he had used what was left of his ill-gotten gains to form the criminal gang known as “The Firm”.

The Firm were guns for hire, basically professional thieves, hitmen or enforcers depending on the clients’ request.

The latest client was mysterious, he had not given a name and Dan had never seen his face.

What he had provided was the location of a country estate in Germany, the access codes for the security alarms and blue prints showing the precise location of the safe that the Firm were hired to steal.

The Job sounded easy, it wasn’t… it turned out to be some kind of government controlled safe house with some seriously high security.

A legion of armed security guards were only the first hurdle.

Police responded within moments of first gun shots and within minutes The Firm was in the middle of shootout with over 50 cops and security guards.

Fortunately they had the skills, and the firepower to force their way out. The stolen safe was loaded into the jeeps along with over five million in cash that had been stored with it (as promised by the mysterious client).

And so, despite losing over half the group to the police, they had made an escape fleeing into the large forested mountain range of the German Black Forest.

Here they were to meet the client, hand over the safe and receive the further 20 million in gold bars in payment for completing the job.

Dan and his men arrived at the destination (known only to him and the client), the satellite navigation device on the dash beeped twice to indicate the end of route and arrival at the coordinates he had programmed earlier that day.

The air was cold and the first light of dawn was beginning to show, he had made good time and the group had reached the meeting point early, ahead of the client.

Now all they had to do was wait … wait and get rich, this would be the last big job for The Firm.

It would be sunny beaches and umbrella drinks after this.

However something had been bugging Dan, exactly what was in this safe? And why was it so god damn valuable?…..
