The security was ex-military and well-armed, but the gang had been easily able to dispatch them and raid the compound before anyone could sound an alarm.
The target was exactly where the client had said it would be, a large high-tech safe, a safe that took several incredibly complicated procedures to open.
Inside it were several million dollars in flawless diamonds , and a single silver locked case.
The client had promised a further six million dollars on delivery of the case, and 50% of the diamonds.
However the client had warned that they knew what was in the safe and expected the case to arrive unopened , warning that with out the pass code required opening the case would destroy the content.
Further more, the gang were to meet the client at their own hide out in the Canadian wilderness, ensuring that they return with the loot as the boss’s own son was to remain behind as collateral.
The boss looked at the case on his lap closely.
As they drove off road towards the destination of the hideout, he was desperate to know what was inside.
They had received a text from his son confirming all was well at the hide out , but something about this deal seemed off….
