A year ago, a group of reservist National Guardsmen were conducting training exercises in the swamps of Louisiana.

However, something went terribly wrong, radio communication was lost, and the group was never seen alive again.

The partially mutilated and bullet ridden corpse of the radio operator was found several months after the incident, his body recovered during the search and rescue operations carried out to find the missing squad.

So far this is the only body that has been recovered…

The Atchafalaya Basin is Americas largest swamp, a combination of wetlands, rivers and largely unexplored forests.

Those who live in the swamp lands are those who have disconnected themselves from normal society, either though birth or by choice.

They are a very private and isolated people who don’t take kindly to intruders and have no quarrel with turning to violence to protect what they see as their lands.

Now, a year later, with no further leads to follow, the trail has gone cold and the military have abandoned their search.

However, one of the missing guardsmen has a brother in the armed forces.

Recently he retuned back from black ops in Bolivia, and after learning the unknown fate of his sibling, he has called in some favours from his friends in the special forces.

The unofficial mission is simple, enter the Louisiana swamp lands, reach the location where the dead radio operator was found, and search for clues to the fate of the missing guardsmen.

Even though it’s been a year, the soldier still hopes to find his brother alive.

However, the bullet ridden corpse of the radio operator suggests that hope to be futile.

But should the search fail to retrieve any of the guardsmen alive, he intends to find out what happened to them, and enact his retribution on those who perpetrated the crime….
