The Story
1000 killers, Traitors and International Criminals are the inmates of SPECONS penitentiary island compound known (by the few privileged enough to be aware of its existence) as the “Ghost Prison”.
The Ghost Prison is SPECONS unofficial Jail on Charango Island
Also known as Quarantine Island because usually when someone is admitted, they never return to society. It is a small island 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-west off the coast of Zanzibar.
The island is around 2 miles long and 1 mile wide at its broadest point, This island saw use as a prison for rebellious slaves in 1860s by the Zanzibar ministry.
SPECON purchased Charango in 2010 and constructed a maximum security prison complex in secret. The island, now U.S government-owned, serves as a prison outside of the normal legal system.
The criminals or individuals that SPECON deems as a world threat are sent there without trial.
Most inmates with some vital information that future interrogation may reveal, so are imprisoned instead of executed.
As such they are disappeared from western media and the regular justice system, and transferred instead to the Charango Island in secret.
No sentences are ever given by courts, no parole is ever offered to inmates, and death is the only escape … prisoners are the property of Charango Island, Citizens of nowhere.
Unfortunately something has gone very wrong ….
A massive explosion destroyed a large part of the complex, and several hundred inmates are now lose.
The communications tower (the only means of contacting the mainland on the island) was destroyed.
The Warden and guards cant contact SPECON to request assistance and control has been lost.
An investigation team would have been dispatched as soon as signal was lost, but they will take 5 hours to arrive from the closest aircraft carrier “The Liberation”.
Unfortunately several of the armoires around the complex have already been raided by the escaped prisoners.
Now all-out chaos has erupted across Charango Island, as the inmates fight the guards and each other…
With no way of escaping the Island, no ships or helicopters kept on the island to prevent escape, and the waters around it teem with sharks…
The Warden and the remaining guards must try and hold out until rescue arrives…
