The Story

Halloween Special – costumes welcome (Prize for best costume)

Thousands of killers, Traitors, deranged psychopaths and International War Criminals, are the inmates of SPECON’s penitentiary island compound known (by the few in high enough places to be aware of its existence) as the “Lost Prison”.

The Lost Prison is SPECON’s unofficial Jail on Charango Island (also known as the Lost Island or Quarantine Island). It is a small island 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-west of Zanzibar.

SPECON purchased Charango in 2010 and constructed a maximum security prison complex there. The island, now U.S government-owned, serves as a prison outside of the normal legal system.

Exclusively for criminals or individuals SPECON deems a world threat, most with some information that future interrogation may reveal.

As such, they are disappeared from western media or the regular justice system, and transferred to the Charango complex.

No sentences are ever given by courts, no parole is ever offered to inmates, and death is the only escape … prisoners are the property of Charango Island, Citizens of nowhere.

However something has gone very wrong ….

A plot devised between some of the most devious of the inmates working together has led to an organized escape of over one hundred criminals.

The communications tower, the only means of contacting the mainland is still under the control of the prison staff, but the escapees have taken refuge on the northern side of the island in the thick jungles that fall outside of the surveillance equipment of the prison.

Fortunately the sea around the island is abundant with mines making escape by improvised boat almost impossible, at least without advanced knowledge of the safe routes in and out.

Unfortunately several of the armoires around the complex were raided by the prisoners during the escape. Now they are armed with a verity of guns and improvised weapons.

With no way of escaping the Island (there are no ships or helicopters kept on the island deliberately to prevent escape).

Now, Prison Warden Dallaway, must organize a search to round up the escapees and return them to the cells.

With so many dangerous and criminally insane inmates lose, the Warden has chosen a rather unorthodox solution. Rather than risk all of own men on this potentially suicidal errand…

The plan it is to fight fire with fire and utilize some of the more deadly and expendable inmates still under his control.

After implanting cerebral explosives in the craniums of the killers, The Warden has tasked the group with the capture of the escapees, under the supervision of an escort of armed guards (all of whom are able to detonate the individually implanted explosives in the inmates at the touch of a button).

These conscripted inmates will be allowed weapons, and any inmate on either side who is killed during an escape attempt is just counted as an acceptable loss to the board of the prison.

Dallaway has no fear of repercussion, so they are given freedom to do what they do best, go murder people…

As a reward to the inmates crazy enough to go along with this plan, he has offered special privileges, extra food, more comfortable cells and other small benefits.

Any inmates the Warden has selected that don’t wish to cooperate, well the threat of having your head blown off is a good motivation too.

They are to be the Wardens Death Squad…

Will they succeed? …. or die at the hands of the other killers that wait for them in the Jungle.
